About Us

World Cup began in 1994 with a dream by Elaine Pascale to provide a place for cheerleaders who wish to compete.  With the help of her daughter Joelle Antico, "the mother-daughter team" has grown World Cup to 16 teams, over 35 staff members and over 450 cheer athletes.  They believe in one simple philosophy, FAMILY FIRST!  World Cup prides itself on providing a place for all cheerleaders who wish to become a part of our family.  Regardless of age and ability, World Cup has a team for anyone.
We are a school of learning where we try to teach life value and give positive praise in a strong structured environment .  We always say, Cheerleading is the last thing we teach at World Cup.
With the growth of our program and the desire to expand, World Cup is proud to announce the opening of our new home in February, 2006 in our own backyard.  Today World Cup is one of the most recognized all-star cheerleading programs in the country, known for their distinct music selections and creative choreography.  World Cup has been featured on the Discovery Channel, Good Morning America, BBC London and CBS News with Dan Rather.  We have also been highlighted in American Cheerleader Magazine, American Cheerleader Junior, CheerBiz Magazine, The New York Times and the Asbury Park Press.  WC has also been chosen for special appearances in "Hey Mickey" starring Toni Basil and "That's Entertainment" with Liza Minneli.
